This could eventually lead to a breakup.

It isn’t just about others. Your mental health is important too. If you keep serving others and never pay attention to what you need, this could lead to burnout, a mental breakdown, and even depression and anxiety. All of these are detrimental and could cause damage to your life.

Therefore, when you don’t pay attention to the important things in your life, you can assume that you will lose them, or worse, they will fail you (i.e., your health). This is why you need to pay attention to the important things in life.
